What is the status of my manuscript?

The corresponding author of the paper should have an email that contains a link which will allow them to check the status of the paper at any time.

I need to make some corrections

The answer depends on the status of the paper. If corrections need to be made to an accepted paper, the author should contact the production department for their journal.

If corrections need to be made to a paper under review, they should contact the editorial department for their journal.

What are the publication fees for?

To provide open access, Rapamycin Press (formerly Impact Journals) uses a business model in which expenses -- including those of thorough peer review process, journal production, legal costs, protection of the journal, promotion of publications, dissemination of publications, news, visibility, media and social media, checking for plagiarism and data manipulation, maintaining integrity of the journal, ethical policies, online hosting and archiving, and much more -- are recovered by charging a journal-specific publication fee to the authors or research sponsors for each article they publish.

Are there additional costs for color figures?

There are no additional charges based on color, length, figures, or other elements.

How do I request a discount or waiver?

Discretionary discounts will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be granted in cases of financial need. All applications for discretionary discounts should be made prior to, or at the point of manuscript submission; requests made after acceptance or during the review process will not be considered. Authors supported by the Libraries' Fund for Open Access Journals will receive a partial discount. We also offer publication fee discounts for papers whose corresponding authors are based in HINARI countries (the world's lowest income countries as defined by the World Bank).

When will I receive my invoice?

Once your manuscript has been accepted for publication an invoice will be generated and forwarded to the email address provided by the corresponding author.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

When would our paper be published and appear in pubmed and PMC

Papers aren't submitted individually to PubMed, we submit papers as an issue to PMC which then releases them to PubMed. It depends on when the paper is moved from advance to an issue and then once a paper has been assigned to an issue and that issue has closed. It has to be submitted to PMC within 4 weeks of the issue closing date (usually happens within 2)

Does Oncoscience have an impact factor?

Oncoscience currently does not have an impact factor. As it is a young journal, Rapamycin Press is uncertain of when an impact factor will be received. While Oncoscience does not presently have an impact factor, it is already indexed on PMC, PubMed and SCOPUS. Publication in Oncoscience will have the same scientific impact as publication in Rapamycin Press' other journals.
